Enter the description of the artwork listing The description is what sells art. It helps visitors relate and connect to the artwork. Behold, a significant portion of your prospective buyers may be art novices, with probably little or no knowledge in the art. Try to stay away from “art jargon” when describing the piece. Write the description in simple and understandable language, which everyone can understand. Some angles to kick-start a perfect artwork description are;

|Short Description||The short description is just a snippet of the above long (elaborated) content. The snippet content shows up with your listing in the product pages. Only the first 40 characters of the content entered in this field will show up on the front-shop. Visitors see this snippet or preview as they browse through the product pages. Try to make your short description catchy and enticing enough to capture the attention of your shop visitors.|

|SKU||Enter the SKU or Stock-Keeping Unit.
This is simply an identification code that allows for easy tracking of your artwork listings. Every artwork on Artailer.ca has a unique SKU. The system uses this code to recommend your listings to visitors that have shown interest to your artworks or artworks similar to yours.
The acceptable SKU structure is [first four characters of your last name – all in caps][followed by four figures].
Let’s assume your name is George Hamilton.
The SKU will be HAMIL0005
What if your last name is less than four characters long?
Then your SKUs character code will be your complete last name. Example, if your last name is ‘Lam’, your SKU character code will be ‘LAM’, followed by the four figures
